When a customer replies STOP
1 min read
Summary
Customers can stop automatic messages by replying STOP and turn them back on with START.
How it works
- If a customer's whole message is STOP, or the same in their language (for example "message band karo"), they stop getting automatic messages and are told how to undo it.
- Replying START turns automatic messages back on.
- The chat shows an Opted out chip. You can still reply to them yourself while the 24-hour window is open.
- Templates are never sent to a customer who opted out.
